TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — Ohio's Environmental Protection Agency will spend the summer and part of this fall studying water quality in seven northwest Ohio counties. The focus will be on Maumee (maw-MEE') River tributaries in Defiance, Fulton, Hancock, Henry, Paulding, Putnam and Wood counties. Workers with the state EPA will be collecting water samples and fish from more than a dozen small streams through October. The Ohio EPA says the study will help identify problem spots and develop plans to improve water quality....
